CFIFF 2016 Opening Night a Sold Out Success!

The Opening Night for the Cape Fear Independent Film Festival was a rousing success, with filmmakers from all over North Carolina coming together to celebrate each other’s works.

The sold out crowd watched films from across the state from the mountains to the beach.  A lively Question and Answer period followed the slate of Films.

And then Karaoke took over as filmmakers and festival staff unwound.

Tonight’s slate includes Unverified: The Untold Story Behind the UNC Scandal and it’s accompanying short The Gullah Project starting at 7pm tonight at the Hannah S Block Community Arts Center 120 South 2nd St, Wilmington, NC 28401.  Followed by the Horror block 9pm at the Browncoat Pub and Theatre 111 Grace St, Wilmington, NC 28401.

Finally our opening night party will be held at Hell’s Kitchen 118 Princess St, Wilmington, NC 28401 starting at 10pm.
