The North Carolina Premiere of
THE CAKE EATERS

"The
Cake Eaters" is the directorial debut from actress Mary
Stuart Masterson (Fried Green Tomatos, Some Kind Of
Wonderful). It is a touching tale about two interconnected
families struggling to deal with love in the face of loss.
Beagle Kimbrough (Aaron Stanford) has recently lost his
mother to cancer. Georgia Kaminski (Kristen Stewart) is a
young girl stricken with a degnerative nevous disease. When
a chance meeting at a flea market brings them together, an
unexpected romance develops. Together they discover it is
better to love and lose than to never have loved at
all.
